ZAZ Vida sedan (ZAZ Vida) - in the model range of the brand, the car appeared in 2012, but in fact Vida has already seen the signs, because it is nothing more than popular on Ukrainian roads Chevrolet Aveo first generation. Therefore, the car, which received the emblem of the Zaporozhye Automobile Plant, inherited a pleasant appearance, a solid interior and a moderately energy-intensive suspension. Against the backdrop of the quite successfully sold, but outdated Lanos and Sens, the new Vida stands out with a more modern design and interior. On the other hand, "Ukrainization" took away ABS and a passenger airbag from the car, which are not provided even for top trim levels.

Nevertheless, the model also received useful changes - an increased ground clearance (165 mm), a reconfigured chassis, thanks to which the power steering wheel stopped “backlash” in the near-zero zone.

Initially, Vida entered the market with two bundles of powertrains:

• 1.5-liter “eight-valve” (84 hp, 132 Nm) developed by General Motors + five-speed “mechanics”;

• 1.4-liter "sixteen-valve" (94 hp, 130 Nm) from General Motors + four-speed automatic.

In order to boost sales in April 2013, the company expanded the range of engines with a more powerful sixteen-valve unit with a volume of 1.5 liters. The engine, developed by the Austrian company AVL, is supplied from China and undergoes final assembly in Melitopol. The output of the motor is 109 hp. 140 Nm of torque. Box — manual pyatistupka. The same unit is used as the main power plant on ZAZ Forza.

Clearance ZAZ Vida is 165 mm, trunk volume is 400 liters. It is offered in two bodies: sedan and hatchback.
